01 · How it works

Three minutes.
Up to three quotes.

Suppliers quote one business at a time, so nobody can compare. BinQuotes puts the published numbers side by side and sends one request to several suppliers at once.

04 · Why now

Ontario changed the rules. Businesses pay the difference.

  • Since January 1, 2026, producers — not municipalities — run Ontario's Blue Box, with Circular Materials operating collection.
  • The new Blue Box serves eligible residential sources. Most businesses must hire private recycling collection.
  • Toronto stopped signing up new business recycling customers on January 1, 2026.
  • Large retailers, offices, restaurants and hotels already have to separate recyclables under Ontario Regulation 103/94.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Is BinQuotes really free for businesses?

Yes. Businesses never pay. Suppliers may pay for introductions or a featured listing in future — featured spots will always be labelled, and payment never changes the price-sorted order.

Are the prices on BinQuotes live quotes?

No. They are indicative prices we found published online, each with its date and source. Your actual quote depends on size, material, pickups and location — that is what the quote request is for.

Which suppliers get my request?

Up to three that list your province and the bin types you picked. In this early phase a person checks every request before it is sent.

Do I have to buy anything?

No. Quotes are free and you are under no obligation. Compare them, ask questions, or walk away.

Where does BinQuotes work?

Anywhere in Canada. We are starting with Ontario, where the 2026 Blue Box changes leave businesses arranging their own recycling, and adding suppliers province by province.
